What’s new


Just like last week the focus has been on improving the supervisor management, this time the possibility to cancel a supervisor booking has been released.

  • Cancel a supervisor booking with a reason
    There are various situations when a supervisor booking has to be cancelled, for example when an exam is cancelled. This can now be managed from the supervisor booking pane where you select to cancel one or several supervisor bookings. In the following pop-up window you can enter the reason for the cancellation. This will be shown to the supervisor in the supervisor home page. When a booking has been cancelled, the supervisor will be available for other bookings.



  • New pop-up for declining a supervisor booking
    In order to clarify the differences between a cancelled booking and a declined one, there is a new pop-up when selecting to decline one or several supervisor bookings. When declining a supervisor booking, the supervisor will not be available for other bookings.




  • Supervisor availability is defined by working hours
    The supervisors availability was historically linked to the hours of the slot, this logic is now changed and the supervisors availability is defined by the actual working hours. For example, a supervisor has a booking in Room A during slot 08:00-12:00, but the hours are updated to 08:00-11:30. This means the supervisor will be available for other bookings from 11:30 and onwards.

Improvements

  • Several small improvements to the report generator
    All reports are generated with a date stamp in the report name, there should be no more line breaks in the page header, the secondary sorting can be deselected and the value dropdown is updated.

  • Prestanda improvements to room calendar
    There have been several efforts made to improve the prestanda and the speed of the room calendar.

Bug fixes

  • Resolved a bug where students sometimes received “Ooops - messages” even though the new feature for accessing the schedule without a student ID was enabled.

  • Resolved a bug in the supervisor booking pane where the dates for when emails where sent out, only showed the date of today.

  • Resolved a bug where the number indicating how many supervisors that have accepted a booking, also included the declines ones.

  • Resolved a bug where the supervisor sometimes couldn’t be removed on the first click.
