What’s new

The releases for the whole TimeEdit product suite will be synced which means that TE Exam releases will be installed on production servers on Tuesday nights, accessible Wednesday mornings from a user perspective. This TE Exam release 1.4.30 was accessible from the 11th of November.

The focus for this release has been to finish the drag and drop functionality in all calendars, and also to migrate a new allocation table.

  • New allocation table
    The table on the student registration, student allocation and students special needs page is updated in order to more easily execute the following actions:

    • Select all and deselect all

    • Sort on all columns

    • Search among students

    • View a long list (max 100) instead of pagination

    • Receive randomized seat numbers

    • Select preferred columns in table

    • View both room name and exam name in child exam dropdown

 

  • Drag and drop supervisors
    In this latest version of drag and drop you can now move one or several supervisor from one room booking to another. Simply expand the room by using the plus button, select the supervisors that you want to move and drag them to a new room booking.

When starting to drag the colors will indicate the availability of the selected supervisor(s).

  • Schedule supervisors as a “draft”
    You might want to play around with the scheduling for a while and not send any email to the supervisor while doing so. Then simply select the action “Move without sending new booking request” and send the email once the scheduling is completed.


    When re-scheduling a supervisor, you can move the supervisor several times in the calendar without sending an email. Once the re-scheduling is done and the email is sent, the system will remember the last email sent and refer to that booking when the re-scheduling email reaches the supervisor.

  • Cancellation reason in email
    When a supervisor booking is cancelled the cancellation reason is now given in the email to the supervisor.

  • Expand in the room booking calendar
    A room booking in the “room booking” calendar can now be expanded to view both exams and supervisors. Use drag and drop to move the whole room booking, or to move exams and supervisors.

 

Improvements

  • Report generator improvements
    When printing reports as a batch operation it is now possible to select page break per room booking.

 

  • Updated “Lead” column
    The column in the supervisor interface that shows if the supervisor is lead or not is updated. It will now render “Lead” if the person is set to be lead, but will be left empty if the supervisor isn’t lead for that specific booking.



  • Simple allocation - new table for child exams
    In order to more easily overview and allocate students to child exams using the new simple allocation flow, there is a new table added.

 

Bug fixes:

  • Resolves a bug where extid:s where shown when importing rooms from TE server.

  • Resolved a bug where the columns names sometimes disappeared when editing columns in the overview tables.

  • Resolved a bug where the wrong actions where listed when moving an exam in the exam calendar.

  • Resolved a bug for some untranslated text

  • Resolved a bug for a case where the numbers for simple allocation did not match among the child exams.
