TE Preferences 1.7.2

What’s new

The main new feature for this release is to be able to copy a full form submission as a recipient. For example, if “Teacher A” submits a form for “course A”. Then he or she can make a full copy of that submission which includes all activities and field values. A new form instance will be created and all of the e.g 100 activities that was submitted for “course A”, will be copied and can be used as a starting point for submitting a form for “course B”.

This enables the user to no having to start from scratch every time if he or she is submitting froms for multiple primary objects.

How to copy a form submission

Once the activities are added for the first primary object, the recipient can select to “Create full copy” of the form. This can be done for both a submitted form or from a form saved as draft, all last changes will be saved when the copy is generated.

The user will be directed to the new form instance with all data copied from the previous one, except from the primary object. This will have to be selected in the new form. Changes can then be made to all activities and fields before submitting.

Create copy from “My forms” page

A full copy of a form can also be made from my forms page by selecting “actions” and then “create full copy”. A new from instance will be created in the list, select to “view form” in order to edit.

Improvements

There is an improvement made to the datasource element when using filters for an object type, e.g room. If the submitter enters a combination of preferences for a type that doesn’t exist, e.g a “computer room” in “campus A” but there are no computer rooms in campus A, the datasource gives a waring that “no objects are found”.

Bug fixes

  • Resolved a bug where all values weren’t always saved if a user where thrown out of a collaboration form due to inactivity.

  • Resolved a bug where the calendar was divided in half hours instead of full hours as default.

  • Resolved a bug where the time and date did not show on the “main row” when using tracks in a calendar section.

  • Resolved a bug where the search function in the object selector didn’t search for the first letters in both the first and last name of an object, it only searched in the first name.
